Stunning Additions Completely Transform Arlington Cape Cod Home
Customer Focus
Our customers purchased their north Arlington home, a traditional Cape Cod, knowing that eventually they would want to add square footage to it, as they hoped to raise their family in the community they loved, and stay settled for many years. With the addition of an entirely new second level as well as a main level bump out the back of the home, our homeowners are now enjoying a completely transformed home that they can enjoy for years to come.
With a focus on modern and contemporary design, the home now features a large and comfortable kitchen and open dining and family room area, which leads to the new screened porch off the back of the main level. A new set of stairs lead up to the new second floor, which features three bedrooms, two large bathrooms, and a laundry room. A finishing touch to the remodel? Entirely new siding on the home in an elegant dark gray James Hardie smooth lap siding.
Safety
This remodel was begun and completed during the global pandemic. All CDC health and safety guidelines were followed. No injuries nor lost days were reported on the job site.

Performance
The second-floor bathrooms were designed to highlight gorgeous and unique tile on the walls of the tub/shower in the hall bathroom and the shower in the primary bathroom. Placement of such beautiful yet intricately designed tile must be undertaken with care. The results are stunning in both bathrooms.
Fairness
As with the majority of remodels that were completed during the global pandemic, this project experienced delays due to supply chain issues. All delays were communicated to the homeowners with complete transparency.

Quality
With such a large scope of work with this remodel, project management was key to its success. Working with a carefully thought-out plan to frame, construct and finish this remodel helped our customers stay on track with the project steps, know when to move out temporarily, and how to live within the work during the construction. In the end, the home is exactly as our homeowners had hoped. They now have the space to enjoy their family time that they didn’t necessarily have previously and can be happy knowing they are in their forever home.
