Incredible Ashburn Kitchen Remodel
Customer Focus
Our customers built their Ashburn home many years ago, and over time, realized that their kitchen lacked the amenities, layout, and selections that suited their current lifestyle and busy family. The homeowners are amazing home chefs and wanted professional grade appliances and storage options that would support their hobby. Along with that, they wanted a wine refrigerator that would be more useful than the original small home desk/office area on one side wall of the kitchen. Finally, they also wanted a better entryway to and from the kitchen along with a more functional pantry. MOSS delivered on all accounts and more. Brand new cabinets on the perimeter and center island, all new quartz countertops throughout, double ovens in the island itself, a massive range with six gas burners and an incredible hood, a fully built-in wine fridge and associated storage, an upgraded mudroom and pantry, and much, much more. Now, the kitchen is the dream spot for these lovers of fine food and wine and provides the entire family with the room and organization to function with ease.
Safety
MOSS began and completed this project during the global pandemic. All CDC health and safety guidelines were followed.
Performance
MOSS worked diligently to find the Brazilian Cherry hardwood for the remodeled kitchen that would match the rest of the main floor. As the flooring has been discontinued, it had to be tracked down through a non-traditional source; then, the flooring was held up with shipping delays. In the end, the flooring was procured and installed perfectly to match the rest of the house.
Fairness
Due to supply chain issues, there were delays with certain selections for the kitchen. One was the cabinet inserts next to the range, which were held up in production. The inserts were to store industrial-grade holders for kitchen utensils and other highly used items. Luckily, MOSS designers were able to locate a replacement after much searching and solved the issue.
Quality
Installing glass-fronted cabinets, such as those in this kitchen above the corner perimeter, must be done with incredible care and attention. Not only are the cabinets heavy, but they are also delicate and could cause great damage to those handling them. MOSS was able to install the cabinets without issue and today they are a gorgeous focal point of design in the kitchen.
