Our MOSS customers came to us with the hopes of adding a main floor addition to their home to help with the care of a family member. Midway through construction, sadly, their family member passed away. Still, the plan to create something akin to an in-law suite with full sitting room, kitchenette, bathroom, home office, closet, and study area came to fruition and is now a lovely addition to their home, just off the kitchen and dining room. MOSS took what was the home’s original deck and created the new addition within the square footage of that, creating a seamless extension of the original home. A smaller deck was added outside of the addition for outdoor sunset viewing, and beneath a new patio along with a better walkway to allow for access out the backyard gated fence. With all the functionality one would hope for, the space is also beautiful, calming, and the perfect retreat for the family.
